For any of you who don't know Gavin very well, let me just say that he has many, many layers to him. You never know what is going to come out of his mouth. Sometimes he will say "Mom, I have a secret...you're my best friend" or " Mom, when I grow up, I'm going to marry you." Other days he has a little more...spunk. Last month after a great snow storm we took our kids sledding behind my moms house. We were out there for a couple of hours and had a great time! Baden wore out before Gavin did, so to encourage Gavin to head home happily I said "let's go get a snack and some hot cocoa!" to which Gavin replied "Are we having a snack at our house or at Grammies?" I said "Our house, of course" Gavin quickly took off his gloves and threw them down on the snow and screamed "Then it will NOT be a delicious one!!!" My laughter enraged him as it does each time I repeat the story. It still makes me laugh!

For Christmas Kelsey gave Avery this cute skirt. At the time she cried when we tried to put it on her, but suddenly now she loves it. We all laughed for the longest time while she twirled and posed for the camera. What a girlie girl.

Who's more fun than Aunt Kelsey? Last Thursday she stopped by and decided to make cupcakes. Several hours and three grocery store runs later she finished her project. We had some trouble finding red and purple sprinkles (too close to Valentines Day maybe?).

This year "Nursery Rhyme" day for kindergarten and preschool fell in the same week. So we made a clock for both the boys to use. It was a fun project.
